Standard Encyclopaedia of
Carnival Glass

The 11th edition of the venerable Standard Encyclopaedia of Carnival Glass by Mike Carwile is now on sale.

This is the first edition published by Mike Carwile on his own, without Bill Edwards.

This 11th edition introduces around 75 new patterns and over 245 replacement photographs which have been upgraded with digital images for improved clarity, bringing this edition's total to over 2,000 colour patterns. Grading information as well as new sections on base/feet identification and 'Inca Bottle' variations are also included. The bound-in price guide also includes virtually every piece of carnival glass ever made with indicative values given for various colours in each pattern. A multitude of both American and non-American companies are represented, and brief biographies on companies such as Dugan, Fenton, Imperial, Northwood, Cambridge, Westmoreland, Fostoria, Heisey, McKee, Jeannette, and the U.S. Glass Company are included.

If you only buy one carnival glass reference book, this should be the one.

The encyclopaedia can be purchased on-line from Collectors Books in the USA - click here to go to their web site.
