Recommended Carnival Glass Reference Books

The following is a list of recommended carnival glass reference books. You may wish to purchase some or all of these over time. Unfortunately having a Library full of reference books on carnival glass will not guarantee that you will find the exact piece you are looking for - there was simply too much carnival glass made by too many manufacturers, and unfortunately record-keeping was not one of their strengths. However, you should be able to answer most of your questions from these books.

If you need any more information about any of these books, or would like help identifying a piece of carnival glass, please contact us.

In Sydney, there are two main sources of carnival glass books that we have found useful. These are:

All Arts Bookshop
90 May Street
ST PETERS  NSW  2044

Ph: (02) 9519-1655
Fx: (02) 4782-9761

You can also visit their web site at http://www.allarts.com.au/ or e-mail them.

Macedo Books
2 Sydenham Road
BROOKVALE  NSW  2100

Ph:  (02) 9401-9822

In the United States, the best source of carnival glass reference books we have found is Amazon.com. Check their web site out. You will be amazed at the books available there. If you can't get one of the books below from All Arts Bookshop or Macedo Books try Amazon.com, but remember shipping costs and exchange rates when working out the cost.

If you have found other good sources of carnival glass reference books, or details of other carnival glass reference books, that you believe we should pass on to others, please contact us so that we can include them here.
